Innova Crysta BS6, What's new?

The BS6 variant of the Innova Crysta was launched by Toyota on 24th November, 2020. Pricing starts from 16.27 Lakhs( Ex -showroom prices), the top end variant  is priced at around 24.34 Lakhs. The new Variant comes with a new front look due to a freshly styled piano black front grille, New LED DRLs which extend into the front grille, repositioned fog lamps and the front bumper now comes with fitted with sonar clearance  to help park in tight spaces. The rear and side profile remains the same except for the new alloy wheels. The interior is also untouched however the infotainment system is now updated , the 9 inch system comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The only change in the interior will be the Camel Tan seats which will be only available in the top end variants. In terms of performance, Innova will be powered by the BS6 compliant 2.4 lt diesel motor producing 148bhp and 343Nm torque and a 2.7 lt petrol engine making 164bhp and 245Nm torque.

If I compare the older models to this one, in my opinion the previous version had a sporty look as compared to this one which doesn't has quite a sporty appeal. Apart from the sonar clearance everything else is a pretty routine upgrade at this price level. The drive feel is going to be slightly more smooth and less noisy due to BS6. The pricing has shown a hike of 50000-70000.

The new Innova Crysta ,as the history of Toyota says is a reliable, trustworthy and a long term player.
