As 2020 was coming to an end a great news came out. Although it is not the first time that the news of Tesla coming to India is being spread, but the hype this time is bigger than ever and there is a high possibility that Tesla will come to India in 2021.




So here are some facts you need to know about Tesla's launch in India:





1. In the recent tweets of Elon Musk it is evident that Tesla will make an entry in the Indian markets and commence deliveries from the first half of 2021.

2.Tesla is planning to setup a R&D department in Karnataka, after 4 years of planning. This will make India the 2nd country after U.S to have a research centre (estimated investment of 31000 Crores)

3. The 1st car to be offered in our markets will be the Model 3 as it is the smallest and the most affordable of them all.

4. Tesla won't be setting up dealerships, instead it will directly sell the cars to their customers via its digital platform.

5. The estimated price of the Tesla Model 3 will be from 70-90 lakhs.
